shibori workshop

having bought myself a stunning book called ' indigo' by catherine legrand i decided to enrol on a shibori workshop run by @cat_colourfield and organised by www.makeitinwales.co.uk

what fun I had over three days on site @ystradorganics where the workshop was held and staying overnight @wrightsfood... i came away with various bits of shibori on silk and linen and lots of photos but my real success was the dyeing of an old plain cream wool blanket - now a unique shibori throw.....

cat lewis and make it in wales are  holding another course on the 13th - 15th may 2018 and I can recommend it - the lunches supplied by juliet at ystrad were delicious, i stocked up on her honey aswell  and then ate more delicious food back at wrights emporium :)
