welsh woven bedspreads

damson & slate work with the local mills to design and produce lovely throws and welsh blankets…. we often work with interior designers on bespoke projects and we recently finished 30 bedspreads to go off to a new boutique hotel in spain. we always try and take images of the throws being woven as many people have never seen victorian dobby looms…they are a work of art and need great expertise to be able to understand and work with them. the noise they make is very rhythmic…and loud.

the colours chosen by the designers were gorgeous - soft and muted - and looked fabulous with the modern fabrics being used throughout the bedrooms.....
